Inspiration
In today's world of fast paced crypto transactions and the booming global NFT market,
paired with the universal need to find a special and unique gift for a loved one, we
decided to create a win-win situation for those who wanted both.
What it does
Here at NFT 214, giving chocolates for Valentine’s day just isn’t our style. Our team is
focused on creating a Valentine’s-themes NFT marketplace with endless digital
masterpieces to choose from.
How we built it
Our team used a wide variety of web-development tools such as Visual Studio
Code, GitHub, as well as multiple programming languages including HTML, CSS,
JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
As with any web development project, we had our fair share of hurdles such as
conflicting CSS elements, broken links, and forgotten semicolons. But at NFT 214,
we love problem solving and found creative solutions to all our issues.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Besides creating a fully functional NFT marketplace webpage, we also are proud of
all the knowledge and experience gained from getting our hands dirty with an open
ended challenge.
What we learned
With a team consisting of freshman students, we were excited to get some more
experience under our belts, and some of our key takeaways were collaborative
design, full stack web development, and the overall environment of working as a team.
What's next for NFT 214
We plan on figuring out how to license the NFT's and set up online transaction
accounts, and then the next step would be to go live with the project!
Note
For the purpose of this hackathon, the NFT's will not be posted for sale.
