Inspiration

The Inspiration comes from our experience in the laboratories of hardware when we needed a tool or material and we had to make a long queue and then we needed to fill a paper at hand.

What it does

It creates a platform where the user can select the material to borrow and then head to get it without making a long queue and waisting time filling paper.

How I built it

We made a web app using NodeJs, and MongoDB, We also used some CSS to make it visually good.

Challenges I ran into

Our first Idea was using Vue as front end and then making the back end with JavaScript and making connections with MongoDB, the problem we had is that we had never used Vue so we couldn't connect the back with the front, so we decided to make the front without a framework.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We´re proud to make a site that has login and authentication because in past events we tried this and failed, so it is great that we could accomplish this.

What I learned

I learned a lot of Vue and that we need to practice the technologies before the event.

What's next for BTR - Bring The Resources

The next steps are adding more options, like having the option to get multiple things at a time and the administrator option to see what materials are borrowed.
