Inspiration

We chanced upon the Optiver trading challenge and thought that it would be fun to join this challenge as online trading was something that neither of us has tried before. It has been a steep learning curve but a really enjoyable journey!

How we built it

We communicated on discord and collaborated on AWS in Python

Challenges we ran into

Being in different time zones and having to work remotely forced us to keep a consistent documentation to ensure smooth handover of our work and progress.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to familiarize ourselves with different trading strategies and implement them, and merge some to create an overall algorithm that is robust and market neutral (somewhat)! This is a personal goal that we are really happy to have achieved.
