Inspiration

Commercial buildings must periodically refresh their interior air to prevent excessive carbon dioxide buildup, which can be unsafe for workers. To do so, their HVAC systems must condition outside air to the interior temperature and humidity, a highly energy-intensive process. Boreas integrates carbon capture with HVAC systems to reduce the amount of refreshing needed.
