Inspiration

I started volunteering at a local homeless shelter. To be honest, it was mostly for my college applications. Turns out, while not having a lot of money, homeless people are some of the best and lovable people to be around. I do my best to help out my community, so why not make a platform everyone can use?

What it does

Boost provides resources and a community for poor or homeless people to get up off their feet.

How we built it

I used NextJS and Firebase as the 2 main drivers of my app. Firebase allowed me to make a quick backend application with its easy to use and cheap services. NextJS allowed me to use client and server code in one app, making my life as a developer 10x easier.
