Inspiration
It all started with thinking about how to tackle post covid tourism, different than what is already happening. We thought of making a digital identity of the traveler/tourist, which would help hotels/restaurants/motels to identify and be confident as well as welcome to the tourist.
What it does
A digital identity for the tourist that contains information like, what was the temperature reading of past 5-7 days, along with the last hotel in which he/she resided. It also helps in keeping the tourist confident and fearless about travelling to other regions, by showing him the current COVID-19 cases, whenever he searches for a hotel.
How we built it
For the app: We used Flutter as a base for making the user/tourists' app, which contains functionality of searching of hotels by searching for a city/state. Along with room availability option, which shows the available rooms and price at the selected hotel
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was making it work, even though another challenge we faced was about who will be ready for the idea of tracking? And will the hotels provide such information about their customers?
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The website and app, and the capability to think of such and idea.
What we learned
We learnt that we need to first deep dive into researching about the project we are aiming to built, because as the judge suggested that who will be ready for the idea of tracking, and will the hotels provide such information? Along with some difficulties in coding, but this is what coding is all about.

We really have high hopes for the project, where we can integrate a Virtual Navigator for the User/Tourist, and a Realtime Hygiene Check for the hotels to monitor the staffs' behavior in this COVID-19 situation
