Inspiration
Mainstream political issues are well-publicized and documented, but it's often difficult to find the most pressing issues to your local community
What it does
Using AI, we can inform community members about local political issues relevant to their county. We first provide a broad overview of ideas, and additional articles, information, and social media links for users to learn more.
How we built it
The front-end was designed using Figma and developed using React. This is connected to the back-end using Flask. For the back-end, we used Python to scrape the web for local news and generate summaries of articles.
