Inspiration
Has a challenging experience in searching for blood during a critical situation inspired me to create this app.
What it does
This app takes the data of the users such a blood Group and Rhesus Factors and the parameters of location the State and District they belong to and can filter the donors with the blood Group and can also find the donors in the other states and districts as of now i do have the data which is limited to three states
How we built it
We constructed this app utilizing the Flutter framework for the frontend and Google's Firebase for the backend infrastructure.
Challenges we ran into
This app functions by collecting user data including their blood group, Rhesus factors, and location parameters such as state and district. It filters potential donors based on blood group compatibility and can also locate donors in different states and districts. Presently, the available data is limited to three states.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
One of our proudest accomplishments is successfully completing the development of our app. We are enthusiastic about expanding its capabilities to offer real-time updates on blood and organ availability.
What we learned
Throughout this project, I've gained valuable insights into solving real-world issues using applications. I've learned various aspects of app development, including designing interfaces, creating screens, and implementing effective page routing.
What's next for Blood Bridge
Our next steps for Blood Bridge involve enhancing the app by integrating live data from nearby blood banks. Additionally, we're looking to expand its functionality to facilitate organ donations, broadening its impact and support for healthcare needs
