Inspiration

We were inspired by a paper we read about about the potential of reinforcement learning to simulate economies.

What it does

fin2win is a website designed for users to learn about the effects of tax policy through simulations. We implemented our simulations using adversarial reinforcement learning.

How we built it

We coded our website using HTML/CSS, and used an economist framework for our simulations.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into issues with imbedding our Python program into our website using Flask.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of creating a website because it was our first time.

What we learned

We learned how to effectively read research papers about niche topics and put those ideas into practice.

What's next

We plan on adding different tax policy heuristics such as sustainability and elasticity on top of the existing wealth distribution and GDP.
