Inspiration

The inspiration for BIT10 AI came from seeing how Gen Z investors are drawn into crypto by hype and unrealistic promises, often fueled by social media. As the founder of BIT10, a decentralized crypto index fund, I wanted to create a tool that gives young investors realistic returns with data-driven advice. Our goal is to empower users with realistic expectations about crypto returns and the value of long-term, diversified investing, countering the risky “get rich quick” narratives prevalent in the space.

What it does

BIT10 AI is a voice-powered advisor that provides real-time crypto market insights, personalized investment advice, and portfolio management—all through natural conversation. Users can:

Ask for daily crypto market summaries.
Get realistic, evidence-based advice about potential returns and the risks of chasing hype.
Receive actionable suggestions favoring index funds and long-term strategies.
Use voice commands to simulate or execute crypto purchases via wallet integration.
Learn about DeFi and crypto investing through engaging, conversational education tailored for Gen Z attention spans.

How we built it

We built BIT10 AI using Bolt.new and integrated ElevenLabs. The frontend is built with React and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS, and leverages CoinGecko’s API for live crypto data. We designed modular components for voice input/output, market data visualization, and portfolio management, ensuring the platform is both scalable.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating real-time voice AI with live financial data required careful synchronization to keep conversations natural and responsive.
Designing conversational flows that balance engagement with realism—delivering honest advice in a way that keeps Gen Z users interested, even when the message is cautionary.
