April 2015, the month the internet changed. A new subreddit was created, /r/thebutton. The button quickly split the community into early clickers, waiters, all those inbetween, and the non-pressors. The color of your flair indicated your societal place. The experiment was truly a wondrous and unique experience.
Modeling dutch auction, we sought to integrate some of the spirit of the button into a coupon distribution service. Thus, the button but for coupons was born.
