BetterEmoji

Inspiration

We were sick and tired of having to google text-based emojis when we wanted them. Even when we found aggregate websites for emojis, they were unsorted and sometimes difficult to copy paste from.

What it does

The program selects random emojis based on the user's inputted emotion. It supports user-added emotes too!

How we built it

We built it using Java!

Challenges we ran into

We had a hard time with parsing the JSON data of the emojis into our program.

Adding more emojis and emotions, a graphical user interface, and AI tagging system.
