Inspiration

Getting too many spotify ads and wanting to be hackerman.

Plays music in the terminal by downloading the files from youtube and playing them with audio interfaces.

pytermgui, pyaudio, yt-dlp, ytmusicapi.

Different platforms, not crashing every 5 seconds on Windows.

Completing it, and fixing a crash that only happened on Windows.

GitHub, version control, API calls, audio interfaces, teamwork, the power of love and friendship.

probably something involving the Brightspace API because that website requires way too many clicks to use.

I polished the backend logic and making the frontend dynamic elements, such as the timestamps and slider by making heavy use of callbacks.

Worked on the backend of the project, specifically integrating play/pause methods and recognizing when sound should be playing using the Youtube Music API (song selection) and PytermGui (getting the terminal to play music)

I worked on both designing and programming the back end and front end. I helped build the main user interface and integrate the back end logic.
