Backstory

Our project was initially planned to be a combination of two unique mini-games, offering users the choice to pick which game they would like to play. Unfortunately, unexpected obstacles hindered us from completing the second part of the project. However, we were able to complete Graphle, the other half of the project. The game involves guessing an expression from a graph of a random composite function. The purpose of the game was to create a math trivia that anyone could enjoy. The game's difficulty and randomness mean that both luck and understanding of mathematical functions play a major role, giving everyone a chance to compete.

Resources and tools used

We built the project from scratch using Python, Flask, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and sockets. By combining these tools, we gained a better understanding of their underlying techniques. We encountered various challenges while developing the project, most notably the lack of a front-end developer. However, we managed to overcome these challenges and learned a great deal about sockets and their potential applications.
