INSPIRATION-
For me summer is about taking part in hackathons and enjoying barbecue at night. But for me BBQ was mostly a disaster, waiting for hours to get it cooked and when its done, its either over or under cooked. So we developed BBQ manager.
INTRODUCTION-
It is an Google Cloud IOT core based temperature and time manager. It maintains the temperature of BBQ at a particular value for a given amount of time so as to get perfectly cooked meat. It uses Actions on Google to make it even more accessible.
WHAT IT DOES-
It is built with a LM35 temperature sensor along with arduino UNO, relay board, potentiometer and LCD display to set timers, detect and control temperature of the barbecue. It is enabled with actions on google and uses PHP on chip arduino shield to establish a connection with google home devices so that we can control it with just our voice commands.
