💡 Inspiration 🌴
This application connects users to restaurant reviews, and letting user to see exactly what other consumers have experienced while eating at a specific establishment. I basically build this application because there are lots of travelers and tourists can not find a proper app to find restaurant near bay areas. So for this reason I build this web application Restaurant Finder.
👩💻 What it does 🌴
This web application is basically a restaurant finding application depending upon the which type of foods are user can choose. In this application user can choose food and also search for nearest restaurant on bay areas of a specific location. This application really helpful for new travelers and tourists because this application provide rating depending upon the food and the restaurant.
🛠 How we built it 🌴
This application is build on JavaScript as a backend and I use HTML and CSS for designing user interface.
💪🏻 Challenges we ran into 🌴
Here, I faced lots of challenges like syntax errors, JavaScript integration issues, and all the other issues, but after a long time of debugging and fixing I run & execute my code sample successfully. Also here I could not properly implement the API to frontend because of time constrictions and I tried to make use of each and every tool in a creative and unique way possible. This project has still lot of potential and improvements to make.
📌 Accomplishments that we're proud of 🌴
Even after the challenges we faced , we finished it on time and this project will help basic Search where the user can search for a particular restaurant based on any location in bay areas and Advanced Search where the user can specify the category, rating and the distance range for the restaurants.
📚 What we learned 🌴
Here we learn about how to build a game application and designing. Also we learn about a better programming skills, functions, syntax and coding experience.
⏭ What's next for Bay Food 🌴
I would like to focus on three things in next version that is a better user interface, add more choices of restaurants, and more user friendly environment. Also I want to add a map or location option that is the user can locate how much distance they are right now present from a specific restaurant.
