Inspiration

The desire to learn something different while making a tool people might find useful.

What it does

It helps users in making financial decisions. While also helping the user in day to day activities like finding nearby ATMs, bank branches etc. We found the best personal accounts for users needs in different banks in the country and suggest it to them.

How I built it

Hard-work, pain, sleeplessness, Python, APIs, Amazon Echo Show, Alexa and a bunch of different technologies. The API is made with flask and is deployed on Heroku.

Challenges I ran into

Betrayal from teammates, the painful debugging system of lambda functions incorporated with Alexa skills, navigating the maze which was the open-banking docs and much more.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Successfully completing the project while salvaging our friendships. All in all we had a lot of fun, and we learnt a lot about different bank accounts, services and working with limited amount of information which was readily useful.
