Balloon

As college students living through the pandemic, we realized how much harder and more anxiety-inducing it has become to meet new people. Our mobile app, Balloon, enables university students to leverage their existing friend groups to ease the anxieties to form new friendships and strengthen existing bonds. Balloon offers effective social interaction because integrated social networks tend to be stronger than spread out networks. By engaging two groups we offer multiple points of interaction and integration. We believe strong social networks are formed when people partake in shared experiences. Balloon makes it easier, safer, and more comfortable for friend groups to expand their social circles while strengthening their own bonds.
