Inspiration

I was looking at how lots of talents were going unnoticed, most especially writers, gamers, artiste, etc there are some people with wicked and great skills, and most of them just go unnoticed and its really sad, and when they are noticed or get rewards for their work , the money already spent on marketting and all is lots, so i thought of a way to solve this by allowing creators to put their work out there and make bring users by incentivising them into reading or playing the their games to get money...aka Axia Ecosystem.

What it does

Axia Ecosystem is a decentralized application (dApp) designed to foster knowledge sharing, engagement, and gamified interactions within a vibrant community. The platform offers a range of features, including article writing, quizzes, staking, gaming, NFTs, and a decentralized exchange (DEX) to provide users with rewarding and immersive experiences.

Axia Ecosystem is poised to revolutionize the way creators, users, and gamers interact within a decentralized environment. Join the revolution and unlock the full potential of knowledge sharing, engagement, and earning.

Axia Ecosystem : audiences + incentives == creators + attention + rewards

How we built it

Axia Ecosystem was built using a combination of modern technologies and frameworks to ensure a secure, scalable, and user-friendly experience for its users. Here is an overview of how Axia was built:

Front-End: The front-end of Axia Ecosystem was developed using Next.js, a popular React framework known for its server-side rendering capabilities, easy routing, and excellent developer experience. Next.js provides a solid foundation for building interactive and performant web applications.

For the user interface design, Chakra UI, a component library for React, was utilized. Chakra UI offers a set of customizable and accessible components that helped create a visually appealing and consistent UI throughout the platform.

To enhance the development process and maintain code quality, TypeScript, a typed superset of JavaScript, was employed. TypeScript provides static typing and additional tooling that improves developer productivity and helps catch potential errors before runtime.

To interact with the Ethereum blockchain and integrate blockchain functionalities into the front-end, Third Web, a library for interacting with blockchain networks, was utilized. This allowed seamless integration of blockchain features within the user interface.

Back-End: The back-end of Axia Ecosystem relied on several technologies to handle data storage, manipulation, and communication.

For data storage, MongoDB, a popular NoSQL database, was used. MongoDB offers flexibility and scalability, making it suitable for managing various types of data within the platform. It stores information of only user accounts.

GraphQL, a query language for APIs, was implemented to efficiently retrieve and manipulate data within Axia Ecosystem. GraphQL was used to get data from the lens protocol api.

Axia Ecosystem leveraged Polygon (formerly Matic), a Layer 2 scaling solution on the Ethereum network, to enable faster and more cost-effective transactions and interactions within the platform. Polygon's scalability benefits provided a smooth user experience while utilizing the Ethereum network's security.

Ethers.js, a JavaScript library for interacting with the Ethereum blockchain, was used to manage user wallets, execute smart contracts, and handle token-related operations within Axia Ecosystem. It facilitated seamless integration with the Ethereum blockchain and ensured secure and reliable interactions.

To ensure decentralized storage of content such as articles, games, and NFT assets, IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) was employed. IPFS allows for distributed and censorship-resistant storage, ensuring availability and reliability of content within the ecosystem.

Development Tools and Infrastructure: Lens is a Web3 social graph on the Polygon Proof-of-Stake blockchain. It is designed to empower creators to own the links between themselves and their community, forming a fully composable, user-owned social graph. and this served as a very crucial part of AXIA as profiles and articles details are stored there.

By leveraging this comprehensive tech stack, Axia Ecosystem was built with a focus on usability, scalability, and security. These technologies and frameworks laid the foundation for an engaging and rewarding decentralized application that revolutionizes the way creators and users interact and learn within a decentralized environment.

Challenges I ran into

I am a one man team so, not much was completed as envisioned. The repository of Axia ecosystem was initially a private one before I changed it to public when i sent an email to chainLink to approve my hackathon project, unknown to me that my private key was there and it was leaked and someone found it and had control of my wallet and sold my D_D and Lens NFT (oleanji.lens) so I didn't have the ability to create any new articles, but I was still able to do some error handling and some lens profile functionalities (without adequate testing though),

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • I was able to generate questions from the OpenAI api and it was an awesome feeling,
  • I was able to publish articles on lens protocol

What we learned

I learned

  • how to use lens protocol for a social web3 app
  • How to use the openai api and incorporate an ai in an app
  • Was able to use technologies i havent used together before: Graphql, ThirdWeb, Lens protocol

What's next for Axia Ecosystem

After the results of the hackathon and hopefully be part of the winners, i want to launch the project to be live on the polygon blockchain There are other features coming up like the Axia Events, Axia Art center , Axia Market etc
