Inspiration

We wanted to learn about how to make websites and were interested in doing something audio-related, so the theme fit perfectly

What it does

Convert Audio to text, text to audio, text to sign language, sign language to text.

Challenges we ran into

We had never coded anything except python before, web dev is new completely. When an API couldn't do some things, we had to make the code to translate English ourselves.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning what an API is, incorporating a good theme into the UI.

What's next for Aux Assist

Allowing for sign language detection, incorporating BSL (British Sign Language), keyboard shortcuts. Creating lessons to learn Sign Language.
