Inspiration: We wanted to make a software/program that had something to do with music, so we decided to go down the route of mental health, since music and stress-relief go hand in hand. Our software aims to help those with anxiety, OCD, and ADHD by providing a means of distraction by helping the user ground themselves.

What it does: The Aura-Visualizer ( prototype ) allows users to play the song, change the volume, and take pictures using a webcam with a slight green tint.

How we built it: We used p5.js to make the code, and audacity to make the audio file.

Challenges we ran into: Before this project, we didn't even know what JavaScript was, let alone how to even write code. So actually making the software prototype was the biggest challenge since we had to rely mostly on trial and error, as well as experimentation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Our team is happy that we got to finish bits of the prototype ( even though it's not that much ) and made a somewhat-successful code.

What we learned: The basics of coding, JavaScript, how to collaborate & work as a team

What's next for AURA-VISUALIZER: We plan on putting our full vision into fruition, and making it the way that we initially intended on ( since our prototype now is severely lacking to our initial plan ). As well as improving the features and functions to make it user-friendly, and accessible for all.
