Audio Jot

Inspiration

Current voice recording apps are disorganized, and as a result, numerous songwriters are losing awesome ideas or leaving them unfinished.

What it does

Audio Jot is a free audio and note-taking mobile app that aids songwriters with idea creation and retention. Essentially, we want our app to provide users a smooth experience as they sing out their ideas, write down lyrics, and pick up where they left off at another time.

How we built it

We used Figma for our UI and hope to use react-native to create it.

Challenges we ran into

Testing out various stylistic choices, building our features and UI design.

Creating our User Interface with Figma (our first time!)

What we learned

We learned more about UI and UX Design and had to think of ways to ensure a better UX experience for our customers.

What's next for Audio Jot

Continue building out our user interface and conduct more customer interviews with a wider range of professionals. After more research, we intend to scale our ideas to fit more features and improve our design for our consumer base. We plan to utilize react-native in the near future to build our app.
