Our project is driven by the profound challenge experienced by individuals fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), who often find themselves surrounded by those unable to communicate in their language. This isolation is further compounded by the inherent difficulty in comprehending spoken language without the ability to hear. Our mission is to dismantle these barriers through a platform that seamlessly translates ASL video into text, enabling mutual understanding between the hearing and non-hearing communities. By leveraging technology and empathy, we aim to empower individuals to connect, communicate effectively, and flourish together, thereby cultivating a more inclusive and accessible world.
