What is Arudite?

Arudite is a product designed around the needs of high school and college aged students. The aim of our company is to create an ecosystem in which high school students can explore different career paths and colleges, identify their interests, and plan for their future. In addition, they will be able to communicate and collaborate with their counselors in order to achieve maximum success. In addition, students will be able to search for enrichment programs and outside opportunities to further their interests and improve their work and real life experiences to make them more attractive to potential employers and admissions officers. Eventually we would also like to create a forum in which current college students or business professionals can answer questions posed by users of our system.

Our Product

The Arudite suite will be composed of several individual components, working together to provide a meaningful and engaging experience for all users involved.

For Students

The ability to build a profile by adding various test scores, grades, interests, accomplishments, and contact information. The student can also choose to have this data verified by CollegeBoard, their school records, or other means, allowing them to send this data to outside organizations with an Arudite stamp of approval. The student can search Arudite’s database of college information to find ideal matches based upon our proprietary algorithm. Students may contact their peers, counselors and teachers directly through Arudite Messenger. Students may pose questions to “experts,” professionals in career fields or current college/graduate students, that may help provide further insight into the application processes, acceptance rate(s), and other helpful information and advice. Students will be able to complete personality and career path tests that will help them identify their unique talents and potential career and/or study paths. Students will be able to search Arudite’s updated database of enrichment programs, summer camps, internship opportunities, and other extracurricular experiences in order to further their knowledge and build their college resumes. Students will be able to request recommendation letters digitally for selective summer programs, internships, and college applications. The Arudite resume creator will help students create their first resumes for enrichment programs, internships, jobs, and more.

For Teachers and Counselors

The Arudite Transcript Creator will be able to create accurate and up to date transcripts of a student’s progress throughout their tenure at the school. Teachers will be able to post assignments, announcements, and grades through our system, allowing the student to constantly have access to up-to-date and accurate information regarding their courses. Counselors will be able to create course request forms and validate course requests automatically using the Arudite Scheduler System, which will also generate student schedules for the following academic year, taking into account the number of sections available, available seats, textbook availability, etc. Counselors will be able to analyze the performance of individual students (with the students’ permission), in order to recommend local opportunities. Teachers and Counselors will be able to write recommendation letters for their students and upload signed, scanned copies to the Arudite system for submission to the Common App and other college applications.

For School Districts and Government Use

General data and statistics can be viewed to analyze the performance of individual teachers, schools, districts, regions, statewide, or nationwide. Trends over years can be viewed. Statewide or Common Core test results may be uploaded to student profiles to increase the understanding of student performance.

For Talent Search and Enrichment Programs

For students who grant Arudite permission to share their data, their profiles may be searched by verified talent search and other programs according to various statistics (ex. SAT scores) Students can be directly contacted by the programs to arrange interviews, send applications, or answer questions. Students may send their resumes and verified GPA, grade, and test score information to programs they are interested in.
