We noticed there wasn't a "Spotify for art" - an intuitive way to discover your artistic taste without intimidation.

What it does

Art Moment uses AI to analyze your art preferences through simple swiping, then generates personalized recommendations and even creates custom artwork based on your taste.

How we built it

React/TypeScript frontend with Supabase database, OpenAI for analysis and image generation, multiple museum APIs for diverse artwork, and GPS-based venue discovery.

Challenges we ran into

Image validation across museum APIs, ensuring diverse global art representation, balancing AI costs, and handling cross-origin image issues.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Seamless swipe interface, AI-powered personalized artwork generation, comprehensive museum integration, real-time preference tracking, and successful deployment to artmoment.ai.
