Inspiration

We were inspired by companies like imubit that have bridged the gap between AI/ML and the process indsutry.

What it does

This AI automatically selects the correct DMC relationships from step tests, taking into account environmental, safety, reliability, and profit factors.

How we built it

We built it by simulating tens of thousands of step tests on linear systems, then training an AI through unsupervised learning on those step test plots.

Challenges we ran into

This ended up being a very taxing process, and we had a lot of trouble training the AI in a reasonable time.

We were able to get this working in the end

What we learned

Training an AI is a very volatile process and a lot of things can go wrong

What's next for apc.AI

apc.AI will continue to build AI applications for DMC and other Advanced Process Control technologies, with the hopes that we can continue to optimize industrial processes.
