Inspiration

The whole inspiration came from Edward Snowden. Hackers could use your microphone and / or camera at will whenever they want. I thought, there should be a way to fix that. Why not?

What it does

Currently as of 2/5/17, I was not able to figure out how to make a program, or a programming language to start coding, but I have found valuable information like what the driver is being used for all windows machines for the camera, and hope to be able to learn how the dll files work so that I can reprogram/add functions to them to make it able to send messages to a program that I would make that would prompt the user (if in a file of allows / disallows of ips, user ids, etc.) / program that I made (if it is in the list). This list is to be only modifyed through email notifications. Never directly through the computer.

What I learned

The dll / required files for camera to work is not as helpful, because they don't have return values for if they are on. I was thinking of a mesh / connector that we could unplug the camera from the inside and put it in the middle. It wouldn't even be noticeable, but the way it works it that if traffic is going through there, it is going to ask (if the info is not present) / or get the info of the signal and block it. Ask if you know this ip with this username (add a MAC too?). Then puts it in a list of allows and disallows.1
