Inspiration
Both of us who worked on this project are of Chinese descent, and hearing about the recent violence and stereotypes because of the COVID-19 pandemic made us create this simple website displaying info.
What it does
This website displays an overview, history of Anti-Asian racism, recent attacks, their contributions, and ways for people to help.
How we built it
We were most comfortable in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, so we decided to make a simple-looking website to share information and raise awareness.
Challenges we ran into
We did have to do some more research of web development and how to add certain designs and elements.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We spent a good amount of time looking for relevant videos, articles, and information that we embedded and linked in our website.
What we learned
We got more experience with front-end web development and designing a page with the 3 main languages.
