Inspiration The idea for IDLE CITY: Amusement Park came from the excitement of classic carnival nights — glowing rides, laughter in the air, and that nostalgic feeling of exploring with friends. I wanted to capture that same atmosphere inside Horizon Worlds, giving players a place to hang out, play, and feel the energy of a living amusement park at night.

How It Was Built The world was built entirely inside Horizon Worlds using custom scripting, lighting effects, and a focus on performance to keep it smooth on mobile. The park features 18 original rides, from high-speed coasters like Rocket Rush and Inferno Ring to relaxing attractions like Tunnel of Love and Star Wheel. Players can earn money, enjoy mini-games, grab food from interactive stands, and try their luck on the Fortune Wheel. The entire experience is synced with night lighting, glowing effects, and moving elements that make the world feel alive specially with talking AI on every ride, which make experiance even smoother.

Challenges & What I Learned Balancing performance while keeping detail and atmosphere was the hardest part. Each coaster needed unique motion, specially while meta have glitch with rotation of static objects (its not smooth) and visual identity without lowering frame rates. I learned how to optimize lighting, group dynamic objects efficiently, and design a smoother UI system for player interactions.

Future Plans I plan to expand the amusement park with daily bonuses, multiplayer challenges, and special seasonal events — including fireworks shows and themed nights. My goal is to make IDLE CITY: Amusement Park a place that keeps players coming back for fun, friendship, and discovery. Make it part of main IDLE CITY World system.
