Inspiration
We interpreted "Turning over a new leaf" as becoming a better person through self-development. Therefore, we created this to help people do just that
What it does
The website allow you to create new goals, set sub-tasks and progression, as well as their due date. It also allow you to set the priority for goals and sort the accordingly
How we built it
We sketched mostly on FigJam, and then write everything from scratch in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Challenges we ran into
- Out of the 3 team members, 2 of us actually knew nothing about any of the languages used in this project, and the one who knew HTML and CSS came 4 hours after the beginning ceremony :) To be fair that person wasn't planning to join in the first place
- The person who did the sketching didn't know that FigJam and Figma are 2 different things, which led to confusions later on when we tried using PlugIns and other tools. (not malding) ## Accomplishments that we're proud of In the end, even though a lot of the thing in the prototypes were not implemented, we still got a result that we can (somewhat) present! An actual product! Most of us have never done anything that's not assignment or small guided school project, so this is definitely deep water territory for us. ## What we learned It takes A LOT of work to get a product from the drawing table to the world. A whole lot more then what we imagined at first. (also finally understand those front-end / back-end memes) ## What's next for Ambition Leaf Hopefully one day we will be proficient enough to come back and finish what we started, since a lot of the cool ideas didn't get through to the final stages due to limited time and knowledge
