Inspiration

Our inspiration for creating this was purely out of design thinking and for problem solving. We have watched people endlessly get frustrated pulling out their phone while wearing mittens just to make a quick purchase. Struggle and problem solving is our inspiration.

What it does

Calescent by amberx is a connected glove capable of communicating with others, heating up the user, contact sharing and contactless payments.

How I built it

We built it using a multitude of programs from adobe XD to CLO 3D to HTML. Most importantly with a multidisciplinary and diverse group the project became very meaningful and enriched. One of the team member is UX designer, another is 3D designer and the third one is coder, that how we cracked it.

Challenges I ran into

First challenge was to bring solutions to existing problem in a viable way. Also it took several hours to the 3D designer of the team to create it, it took several trial and error before getting the final simulation.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I was proud we did so much in 36 Hours!

What I learned

We learned that its the small, forgetful things that end up taking the most time...

What's next for amberx

Hopefully more market research and a minimum viable product
