Inspiration

We were inspired by our teachers and mentors at HackUPC.

What it does

We have done the data analysis and built dashboards on Altran coverage data.

How we built it

We used Python, R for statistical and data analysis. Javascript and HTML for Route trajectory

Challenges we ran into

Computational issue dud to the data size. Get used to the data as lot of fields were irrelevant/ not good featuers javascript we were completely new to this technology

I was involved with building dashboards and on the data blueprint with Martin. Our data analysis was done using pandas/python however we switched quickly to R. I also built a PCA model to explain the variation on our dataset.

My work was focused on analyzing the datas, by trying to make statistical models and plotting data coverage over months. It was the first time I worked with really huge datas, and in practice it is not like theory that much. However, I learned a lot about giving meaning to models.

Martin
I worked on a sqlite database that contained the data from all given files and a python backend that retreives datapoints or paths of people.
The paths are generated by connecting datapoints using a simple heuristic.
For both (points and trajectories) I created visualizations using google maps and javascript for dynamic content.
I am new to javascript and made progress in that area during hackUPC.
