Inspiration
We found out that finding teams and building connections is hard since, during the pandemic, the only thing we see is either profile pictures or letters. Many people have become shy since the pandemic because of the limited human interaction. With Aloso, we decided to have an anonymous website so that people can express what they want freely.
What it does
We made Aloso an anonymous website where you can upload files and videos. All the information is protected by a randomly generated key that only the dev team and you know. This makes things like brute force and web tracking useless since no password or email is required to make an account.
How we built it
We used C#, Javascript, and HTML to create the website.
Challenges we ran into
In our team, we don't have a lot of experience in Javascript and HTML so it was a challenge to make a good UI for the website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have successfully implemented the upload of video and files to a database and account logins.
What's next for Aloso
There are still many features that we have yet to implement, we hope that we could continue to add new features to Aloso.
