Inspiration
What better way is there for you to learn than from your peers?
What it does
Alliance matches students to mentors based on interests that they highlight. They can also join chats with people with similar interests, and browse and save events hosted by mentors that they might find interesting.
How we built it
We chose to build the system in React, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. The real time chat was built with Axios, React Hooks, Props, @ant-design/icons and chatengine.io. The Home page was built with react-bootstrap.
Challenges we ran into
The major problem was communication as the hacking was done virtually.
