Inspiration

Inspired by kid's science websites used for education.

What it does

Teaches about habitable planets in our solar system for educational purposes.

How I built it

Javascript, CSS3, and HTML5 with a little bootstrap and Java processing. I used photoshop to do the planet cropping.

Challenges I ran into

I found at times that my javaScript and processing was a bit tricky to adjust to responsive screens. I also intended for the audio to autoplay but was unable to due to browser limitations.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of creating a website for educational purposes.

What I learned

I learned more about implementing javaScript bootstrap and animating with CSS3.

What's next for AlienPlanets

I plan to add more planets to the page and perhaps add more animations when entering a planet.
