Inspiration
We were inspired by Alice in Wonderland and the journey she takes. We used the characters as markers for the goals we set up in our website.
What it does
Our website is fitness trackers that tracks how many miles the user runs using the story of Alice in Wonderland. The user gets a goal at each part of the story for how many miles they should run and when they reach the goal, they can press a button and move on to the next part of the story.
How we built it
We used html, css, and javascript to put together our website.
Challenges we ran into
Collaborating with multiple teammates was difficult as multiple pushes could lead to us overwriting each other's code. Trying to apply new things we've learned along the way and debugging it as well was challenging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of the pictures we've put on the website. We're also proud of the animation that we've applied to one of our images to make the page more dynamic.
What we learned
We learned how to use javascript on images to make certain objects follow the mouse.
What's next for Alice Lost
We want to make the website into an app that tracks user data using a fitness watch to sync up their progress with the storyline we built. We also want to add a login feature so that user data is saved every time they go onto the app. We also want to allow the users to manually enter their progress.
