Inspiration
All of our teammates love music, so we decided to make something fun that involves music!
What it does
AirPiano recognizes your hand gestures--different gestures representing different sounds--and turn them into MIDI input, and then output the signals to music apps to form a melody.
How we built it
We used Myo Gesture Control Armband to recognize hand/arm gestures, and map them to corresponding sounds.
Challenges we ran into
We had many great ideas, so we struggled a long time with the brainstorming process.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
None of us had any experience with Myo Gesture Control Armband before, so we are really proud that we made AirPiano work!

Dealing with Myo SDK, and APIs.
What's next for AirPiano
Incorporating more gestures, and revolutionizing the way young DJs(like one of our team member) make music.
