Inspiration

"Aid Network" is fueled by a strong aspiration to bring about a positive change in our society - a future where inequalities in resources are addressed, and the lives of disadvantaged communities are uplifted. Our unwavering dedication is to support the helpers and the needy ones, focusing on eradicating poverty, hunger, improving health, education, and much more. Ultimately, our product is fundamentally aligned with the global vision of creating "A Better World."

What it does

Our website is dedicated to assisting individuals in need, motivated by the hardships faced by those who can't afford a single meal a day. Our platform encourages everyone to contribute by uploading necessary requirements that can benefit those in need.

How we built it

Using WordPress and the BuddyPress plugin, we brought our vision to life with enhanced functionality.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout the journey, we encountered challenges, such as maintaining typeface consistency and overcoming technical difficulties during migration and hosting. Despite the obstacles, our dedication to the cause remained unwavering. We utilized a free domain from GitHub, though it had limitations in meeting all our functional requirements. Balancing school responsibilities from 10 to 5 made it tough to find time for constructing and updating the website.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take immense pride in creating a user-friendly website that empowers donors to make a meaningful difference effortlessly. By uniting the power of generosity and compassion, we foster a community of caring individuals committed to creating a better world for those in need.

What we learned

During this project period, we gained valuable lessons in time management and effective teamwork. Balancing our school responsibilities while working on the website taught us the importance of efficient time allocation and prioritization. Moreover, working collaboratively on the project enabled us to enhance our teamwork skills. We discovered the significance of effective communication, coordination, and mutual support within a team setting. Overcoming challenges together strengthened our bonds and improved our ability to collaborate efficiently.
