AI-Powered Nurse

Inspiration

When I went to the dentist a few weeks ago, the dentist had to help me and another patient at the same time. Not only did the other patient and I had to spend extra time, but the dentist was also tired helping two patients at once. If there was an assistant to listen to our cases, the dentist would not have been so overworked.

What it does

Basically, the device would use a Raspberry Pi, sensors, and peripherals to assess the patient's case. It would also fetch previous medical history to help with its decision. Then, it would report to the doctor on what it thinks is the best action to take.

How we built it

I have not built the product, as it is a research proposal.

What's next for AI-Powered Nurse

I want to try to make a prototype with publically available data. However, I could not find any datasets with the data I need, further proving the need for research in this topic. I have the necessary knowledge and resources to create this machine, so I will definitely continue researching datasets for my needs.
