[8:00 PM, 7/19/2024] Saalim: ## Inspiration After completing three rounds of interviews, I reached the final round only to face rejection. The lack of constructive feedback left me pondering the areas I needed to improve. This experience inspired me to create a solution that addresses the common issue faced by many interviewees: receiving generic rejection emails instead of personalized feedback. My goal was to develop a tool that provides valuable insights, helping candidates understand their strengths and weaknesses and ultimately bridging the gap between rejection and improvement.

What it does

Interview with AI allows users to select an interview category and proceed with a test administered by a chatbot. The chatbot poses a series of questions, and at the end of the interview, candidates receive personalized feedback based on their responses. This feedback is designed to be constructive, providing clear areas for improvement and helping candidates prepare better for future interviews.

How we built it

The project was developed using a combination of modern technologies:React.js and Tailwind CSS for building a responsive and interactive frontend.Flask for creating a robust and scalable backend.OpenAI for implementing advanced natural language processing capabilities to evaluate and provide feedback on candidate responses.

Challenges we ran into

Building this project single-handedly was a significant challenge. One of the main difficulties was managing all aspects of the development process, including coding, testing, and deployment, without the support of a team. Documentation was particularly challenging, as it would have been beneficial to have additional resources dedicated to this task to ensure comprehensive and clear documentation

What's next for Interview with AI

The next steps for Interview with AI include integrating image processing and computer vision technologies. This will enable new features such as analyzing body language and assessing the confidence levels of candidates during the interview. These enhancements aim to provide a more holistic evaluation of candidates, further improving the quality and relevance of the feedback they receive.
