About the Project
Inspiration
AI-Draw was inspired by the need for a seamless way to interpret and enhance handwritten content. Whether it's solving math equations, recognizing sketches, or answering questions, we wanted to build an intuitive AI-powered tool that simplifies learning and creativity.
What We Learned
Through this project, we gained deeper insights into AI-driven image processing, handwriting recognition, and real-time response generation. We also improved our skills in frontend and backend development, optimizing user experience, and handling complex data processing.
How We Built It
- Frontend: Developed using React.js and Bootstrap for a sleek and modern UI.
- Backend: Powered by Node.js and Express.js for efficient request handling and get fast responses from API.
- AI Processing: Integrated OCR and AI models to analyze and interpret drawings, handwritten text, and equations.
- Database: Utilized MongoDB for seamless data storage and retrieval.
Challenges Faced
- Real-time Processing: Ensuring fast and accurate AI responses for various inputs was a key challenge.
- Handwriting Recognition: Fine-tuning the AI model to correctly interpret different handwriting styles.
- Optimizing SVG Output: Creating clear, minimal line art without unnecessary details for a clean visual representation.
- Seamless UI/UX: Ensuring smooth interactions and intuitive navigation for users across different devices.
