Inspiration
We are inspired and motivated by increasing the number of farmers around all over the globe.
What it does
Agri-Track helps to control the motor and fence using a mobile application.
How we built it
The humidity sensor and Moisture sensor are connected with Esp8266 NodeMCU and coded in Arduino IDE. This humidity sensor collects the humidity level and the moisture sensor collects and records the agricultural field. These data are then uploaded to the firebase cloud. Then we developed a mobile application for operating and controlling these features. Users can control the farm motor, fence, and control both the real-time values of humidity & moisture level. The major advantage of our application is that it will predict whether irrigation is needed or not for specific agricultural fields based on the values of humidity and moisture level.
Challenges we ran into
Interfacing the Arduino with Firebase cloud was a tough task for us and we overcome it and created and stored all of the data there.
