Inspiration
This is a front-end website that lets students explore the different clubs, events, and activities that happen at A&M on a regular basis. Some of the UI components that are part of this website include buttons, links, forms, logos, and headers.
We built this website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front-end development. For the back-end development, we connected some components of our pages to our database using the Django python database framework.
Some of the challenges that we ran into included information storage issues when using SQL and PHP at the start. Furthermore, during our front-end development process, we initially used ReactJS, however we ended up using HTML and CSS for overall rendering and styling.
We were finally able to create a great, user-interface website that contains various intricate components such as forms, JavaScript functions, buttons, images, etc. We also did a whole lot of CSS styling, and made sure that our pages are looking good.
Some of the things that we learned included new components within the ReactJS language, improved our overall HTML/CSS skills, as well as learned Django along the way.
One stop shop for planning all club events and keeping students up to date on activities around campus.
