The first step is the analysis of the other alternate water resources nearby and using water from those bodies. As we all are aware about the depletion of the ground water due to its vigorous use. This would be useful in saving the ground water as well as giving it time to replenish itself.

If we talk about the hardware we are using RASPBERRY PI along with other components such as moisture sensor , humidity sensor , temperature sensor.

The user interface would be provided in form of a web as well as a mobile application which would help user to keep an eye on the field stats as well as to start and stop irrigation accordingly.

PIPELINE We have parallel pipeline network that have moisture sensor , temperature sensor and pressure sensor. The pressure sensor will monitor the pressure in each and every pipe and it comes handy in the scenario of leakage in any of the pipelines. It will automatically close the flap of the particular pipe to reduce the wastage of water and would issue a notification for the leakage.

Parallel network of sensors Most of the fields have uneven surface land which results into clogging of water in low lying areas. If the sensors are not placed strategically it may result into over watering and drought conditions in the same field at different areas. Now to reduce water loss and destruction of plants we place a parallel network of pipelines associated with moisture sensors. Each sensor relays independent data to the server which helps frame a map of the farm to effectively keep the plants healthy.

MARKETING We have a lot of benefits in marketing field in installing a closed loop irrigation system . we can use farmer’s pre installed hardware and all they need is the software that has minimal hardware requirements . If farmers have preinstalled hardware then they just need to inculcate sensors and software.

COST EFFICIENCY We can deploy our hardware system even on the pre existing pipeline network . Minimal hardware requirement. Focus on the conservation of water resources. Low deployment cost.
