Inspiration
Manual passkeys are to slow and inefficient, yet digital ones are simply reactive and aren't doing enough. So we built Aegis to create a system that thinks and acts upon at the speed of the attacker.
What it does
An autonomous AI sentry that analyzes login patterns, scores threats in real-time, auto-bans malicious IPs, and sends instant email alerts.

What it does
How we built it
Frontend: React / Tailwind CSS
Backend: FastAPI / Python
Intelligence: LangChain / Gemini 1.5 Flash
Alerting: SMTP / Gmail App Passwords
Challenges we ran into
Navigating API quota limits, fixing 404 model errors, and handling background tasks so email alerts don't lag the UI. Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a resilient "Autonomous Mode" fallback that keeps the system secure even if the AI cloud goes offline. What we learned
Rate-limit management, building non-blocking backend architectures, and the efficiency of JSONL for high-speed security logging. What's next for Aegis Lock
Expanding to Discord webhooks, implementing biometric hardware triggers, and deploying local LLMs for offline threat analysis.
