Inspiration

I love to travel a lot, but every time when it comes to planning it's such a hassle and requires a lot of researches. I want to build something that helps plan very detailed trips that are customized to the users' interests/budget.

What it does

Users will provide their interests and budgets as input to the application and it will provide personalized travel routes back to the users. It can also help travelers find other travelers along the similar routes as travel companion.

How I built it

Part of the demo was built with JavaScript and Google maps APIs. Other functionalities can also be built with C#,SQLite, Google Cloud's AutoML.

Challenges I ran into

Searching the web for hotel/flights/activities prices isn't too difficult but gather the results can be. So I decided that the application can probably utilize travel metasearch engine's APIs.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Incorporation with different technologies like google's APIs and google cloud services as well as AR utilization

What I learned

There are many existing technologies that can make ML much easier than we think
