Inspiration

Creative, funny and topical ads of Amul which win the heart of viewers triggered my thought process. What if we can reach out to people with the advertisement content in the flavor of their interests laced with the current happenings with an automated AI? It could be poetic, funny or serious flavored with Sports, Science or Movies or Space....

What it does

This is a product of that thought process, that is aimed to do exactly that...reach out to people with the ad content dressed to each one's liking thro' social media or bill boards based on their demography, nay, psychography and serve them the content that can even change its Avtaar everyday, all with the power of Generative AI informed by such knowledge and ever opportunistically 'looking for' the happenings in the 'world around', self-motivatedly, with a spirit of true AI agent

How we built it

Using AWS's all the cloud power: AWS Bedrock models' image generation and text-generation capabilities

Challenges we ran into

Some are purely logistic, some AI models were simply unreachable because of payment mode incompatibilities, hence had to change the models to more friendly ones for my space & time co-ordinates...:)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of connecting all the individual technology elements to come up with a demo that shows the intent and vision of this idea

What we learned

While AI has lots of power, it still requires lot of creativity and directed effort from the developers to make it work in the way that is useful and as envisioned

What's next for Ad-Apt

Currently this is an 'app' with user interface both for demo and for advertisers to use to get the ads and use them manually further . It has to be developed into an agentic AI that picks up peoples' interests and the current happenings automatically, autonomously through the social media and News APIs and feed the users with relevant ads in the forms of their taste.
