Inspiration

Doctors need a tool that assists in taking notes recalling patient interactions

What it does

DiagNote turns documentation time into learning time. Clinicians draft notes via voice/text; before the AI reveals a final note, DiagNote prompts clinicians to recall diagnosis, findings, and plan. The system compares responses to AI output, highlights discrepancies, and auto-generates flashcards for spaced repetition. Designed with strict HIPAA controls (encryption, RLS, BAAs), DiagNote supports residencies, teaching hospitals, and solo practitioners who want both efficiency and mastery.

How we built it(Tech stack)

Frontend: React (web) or Flutter (mobile) • Backend: Node.js or Python (FastAPI) • Database: Postgres (hosted via Supabase or AWS RDS) with Row-Level Security (RLS) • Realtime/Functions: Supabase Edge Functions or AWS Lambda • AI: OpenAI + optional private fine-tuned model / hosted LLM for PHI-sensitive customers • Notifications/Push: FCM / APNs • Hosting: HIPAA-ready cloud (AWS with BAA, GCP with BAA, or Supabase Enterprise) • Auth: JWT + MFA + Audit logging
