Inspiration

What inspired our team was the various apps we have to use in order to function at school. We took ideas from our own experience with struggling to learn certain concepts and not having the resources to learn on our own. Thus, we wanted our app to combine the different apps students use along with new additions such as AI Tutor in addition to the improvements in some of the integrated app features.

What it does

AcademicAlly saves students' time by condensing all of the apps or tools a student would need for school. Targeted towards improving students' education, we created an app for students who have limited time after school or are struggling to understand a certain concept. AcademicAlly includes many features with the AI Tutor being the main addition. With an AI Tutor, students can receive help from our app and AI Tutor to work independently outside of school while saving time to truly learn the concept.

How we built it

After brainstorming what we could use to improve our student life, we built the prototype of AcademicAlly in Canva.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge we ran into was scheduling since some people had other commitments they had to do.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of how the video and mock-up turned out.

What we learned

Something that we learned from this experience is that making a flowchart is very complex and that you should plan ahead.

What's next for AcademicAlly

We could include a messaging tab for students who want to communicate with teachers.
