CampPlanner

Inspiration

The inspiration came from my own experience camping as well as just general trip planning. I thought a site could help people with a better planning experience.

What it does

We had several features planned for it but were only able to implement the most basic of them due to unforeseen external challenges. The only feature it has is being able to create, delete, and modify the places that you plan on going or locales.

React / Express / PostgresSQL

Challenges we ran into

Teamwork was a challenge, it was all of our first hackathons and we had a very wide range of experience and knowledge which made it very difficult to get a ton done.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got something working.

What we learned

Planning is important but for something like a hackathon it's less important so if we go to another hackathon in the future we should do less planning and more implementing.
